The city says a login is not required to inquire about an existing plan check or permit. Search with accurate property or permit information and use the results as background for the new project.
Register for a new online application
A user account is required to obtain a permit online. IrvineREADY! supports application and plan-check uploads, project status checks and eligible self-service permits.
Use the inspection request tied to the permit
If the city requires an inspection, request it through Irvine’s inspection service or call the city’s inspection scheduling line at (949) 724-6396. Keep the permit information available when making the request.
Important: An HOA’s architectural approval does not replace Irvine’s review, and a city permit does not replace private-community approval. Resolve both before scheduling installation.
